Once only a fantasist's dream, images of Earth from space are now a commonplace. But that hardly undermines their weird beauty. This screensaver displays a variety of such extraterrestrial views, showing hurricanes, rivers, mountains and whole continents. It offers a fair number of configuration options to set the order and frequency of image changes, choose between a variety of transition effects, or display the photos in black and white. Any photo can be used as a background image on the computer's desktop, and the wallpaper can be set to change images every hour. The trial version displays just one-third of the images. For anyone who has ever lingered over satellite images or Shuttle pictures, this download may be very appealing indeed.
